As the executive director of Harbourview Family Health Team, she leads with a vision of community engagement and advocacy for patients in Northern Ontario. With over 20 years of healthcare experience as a registered nurse, she has a wealth of knowledge about the needs of patients and families, especially those in remote and rural communities. She is passionate about improving access to primary care and ensuring all patients receive the highest quality healthcare, no matter where they live. Under her leadership, Harbourview Family Health Team has expanded services and forged new partnerships to better serve the community. She brings a hands-on, collaborative approach and is committed to innovation that transforms the healthcare experience.

Deanna White

Deanna has worked as a Primary Care Nurse since 2007, starting with Sunset Country Family Health Team in Kenora and joining Harbourview Family Health Team in 2012. Her clinical practice focuses on health promotion and chronic disease management. She provides Cervical Screening, Hypertension Management, Smoking Cessation, and Immunizations. Graduating from Confederation College’s RN program, she holds a Certificate in Infection Control from the University of Calgary and the TEACH Certificate from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine.

Michelle Wright

Michele Krasnichuk

Michele has a Master of Social Work (MSW), an Honours Social Work (HBSW) and Sociology (BA) degrees. In addition, she also has a diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE), which allowed her to work with children and families as well as mentoring and educating ECE students. As a Social Worker, her practice over the years has been focused mostly within hospital, primary health care and community settings, while assisting people with various psychosocial situations. As a mental health professional with the Harbourview Family Health team, Michele provides education and support to clients, while assisting them in making positive change that ultimately helps them towards improvements in mental and physical health overall

Michaela James

Michaela (She/Her) is a registered Social Worker who joined the clinic in 2021. She comes from a diverse educational background in psychology, social work, concurrent disorders, and child and adolescent mental health to provide services to those 13 years of age and older. Although Michaela uses an eclectic and multimodal therapeutic approach, her clinical lens often draws from principles in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Person in Environment Theory. Michaela is a compassionate, easy-going, and LGBTQ2S+ friendly counsellor. To get started, please ask your physician for a referral.

Registered Dietitian

Mary Beth Lawrence

Mary Beth has been practicing as a registered dietitian for 15 years and joined Harbourview Family Health Team in 2016. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Western Ontario, and dietetic internship with the Northern Ontario Dietetic Internship Program.  
Mary Beth works with patients of all ages, and with a wide variety of needs: high cholesterol, prediabetes and diabetes, various digestive concerns, picky eating, disordered eating, food intolerances or allergies, general nutrition education and weight management.
